Crime Prevention

The Provost Marshal’s Office conducts several crime prevention programs. The Child Identification (fingerprinting) Program is designed to help law enforcement officials in the identification and/or location of missing, lost or abducted children.

Operation ID is designed to discourage burglaries and theft through the marking and registering of personal property for people who live in barracks or government housing and for all civilians working at Cherry Point.
