Hart Family Honored as Military Family of the Quarter for community impact

U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Gavin Hart and his family were named the Military Family of the Quarter in New Bern, North Carolina, March 14, 2019. The New Bern Chamber of Commerce Military Alliance presents the award to the military family that has most positively impacted the local community over the past quarter. The Hart’s donated and volunteered time and energy to the community by working with charities and a local elementary school. Hart is an avionics staff noncommissioned officer in charge assigned to Marine Attack Squadron 231, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
