We are dedicated to servicing all the women and men who have made personal sacrifices to serve our country. Let’s not forget all the family & friends who supported our military members.

Established in April of 2018 as a 501(c) 3 Nonprofit Public Services Veterans Organization, Choices in Action (CIA) is spearheaded and founded by an African -American woman who is an Air Force Veteran (11 years of dedicated service).

No Fancy Offices – We will walk the streets to find Veterans who are Homeless

Choices in Action (CIA) serves as a MOBILE apartment locator, rent negotiator, and Case Management specialist for Homeless Veterans in the City of Los Angeles and all the cities of Orange County California. CIA will search for studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments in financially thriving communities. Likewise, we will partner with apartment management to reduce the monthly rent by 10% to 15% below market value.

Each program participant receives a one-time gift of $600 to be used for an apartment rental security deposit. While waiting for apartment occupancy, CIA will offer motel vouchers. Upon moving in, we will supply the Veteran occupant with new household furnishings (Valued at $2,100), cleaning supplies, and a basket of nutritious food ($200) to cover meals for 7 days.

This exceptional housing program is tied to comprehensive case management services. Veterans are also given assistance with filing VA claims, applying for other government benefits, and finding meaningful employment.

We will remain a small organization because our philosophy is, “Putting people before profit.”
