NAS Fort Worth JRB Homes is professionally managed by Balfour Beatty Communities, with a community of 83 homes in single-family and townhome styles. Residents enjoy a secure and comfortable hometown environment with the convenience of 24-hour maintenance, lawn care services and community events. The spacious homes are equipped with a variety of attractive features such as central heating and air conditioning, fenced back yards, fully equipped kitchens and carports. Average monthly utilities are included in the monthly rent, allowing residents to maximize the value of their rental dollars.


Service members interested in residing off-base through the Rental Partnership Program can get assistance from the Family Housing Team. Please visit the Housing Service Center located at Building 1330 Military Parkway or call 817-782-5711/5777 or DSN 312-739-5711/5777.

Unaccompanied Housing (UH) is government-owned and operated and consists of four facilities with a total 347 beds. Accommodations are one person to a room based on pay grade and square footage. Common areas are equipped with televisions, video games, Internet access and vending machines. In general, all shore duty personnel to include 100 percent of E-4 and below will reside in the permanent party UH. More senior personnel are expected to reside in the local community.

The complex is conveniently located near the center of the base just off Military Parkway allowing immediate access to the dining facility, gym and fitness center, and the bowling alley. The complex is also a short walk to the Exchange, Commissary, Exchange food court, the library and the chapel.

Service members may temporarily forward personal mail to the command/squadron/unit they are transferring to. A sponsor should be able to provide the permanent address. Upon checking into the new command/squadron/unit here, service members mailing address needs to be updated to a P.O. Box at the U.S. Post Office on the installation or to the new address if living off base.

Naval Branch Health Clinic Fort Worth is an active-duty only clinic onboard NAS Fort Worth JRB. In addition to Primary Care services, it provides Dental, Occupational Health, and Pharmacy services.

THERE IS NO EMERGENCY ROOM ONBOARD NAS FORT WORTH JRB. In case of an emergency, please proceed to the nearest emergency room or call 911

Services provided:

Primary Care is available to active duty, line of duty, and Reserve or National Guard members on orders over 30 days.

Dental is available to active duty service members and Reserve or guard members on orders over 30 days.

For Pharmacy service, please refer to for questions on eligibility.

To obtain specialty care, service members need to see their clinic provider who will submit a referral. After the referral is entered, report to Managed Care to ensure the referral is processed properly with an off-base Tricare Prime network provider.

The Nurse Advice Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Nurse Advice Line registered nurses ask a series of questions about a caller’s specific health concern and advise the caller on when and how to seek care for an urgent problem or give instruction on self-care at home.

Relay Health is a secure online service through which healthcare providers and patients can securely communicate about healthcare matters. Through Relay Health, service members can consult their doctor about specific health symptoms, request a prescription refill, request appointments, receive lab or test results, and access health education information depending on the types of Relay Health services the provider offers.

Call the clinic for health certificates, vaccinations requirements, FAVN tests for overseas requirements, and minor medical issues. Proof of a heartworm test done within the last year is required to purchase heartworm preventatives. Services for dogs include distemper/Parvo Combo, rabies vaccination and heartworm tests. Cats can get annual distemper and rabies shots.

There are no kennels on NAS Fort Worth JRB.

Cats and dogs on base must be licensed and receive vaccinations annually. Single tag licenses can be obtained from participating veterinary clinics.
