Building 716 559-998-3386/4786

6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; closed Saturday, Sunday and holidays

You are required to register all motorized vehicles, including mopeds and motorcycles, that will be driven on station for entry into the Consolidated Law Enforcement Operations Center Database (CLEOC).

Current state registration and insurance for each vehicle and a valid driver’s license must be shown at the time of registration. Military personnel and their dependents must follow all state requirements regarding driver’s licenses. For detailed information about state license and registration requirements, contact a member of the Pass and Decal Division.

Minimum insurance requirements are $15,000/$30,000 public liability and $5,000 property damage, although we recommend you carry more for your own protection.

If you do not own the vehicle and are not an immediate member of the owner’s family, you must present a notarized letter from the owner giving you permission to register the vehicle. Detailed information about registering a “borrowed” vehicle may be obtained at the Pass and Decal Office.

Motorcycles: Persons operating a motorcycle on station must adhere to all requirements in the base instruction to include proper wearing of boots, gloves, helmets and reflective safety vests. All personnel operating a motorcycle must complete a motorcycle safety course prior to operation on station.

Detailed information about motorcycle requirements may be obtained from the NAS Lemoore Safety Office. The Safety Office administers the Occupational and Traffic Safety programs, including motorcycle, all-terrain vehicle and off-highway motorcycle training for everyone stationed aboard NAS Lemoore.

The Safety Office is located at Building 767, on Franklin Boulevard. It can be reached at 559-998-3932/3936. For more information on the Traffic Safety program, call 559-998-3935.

Weapons: All privately owned weapons must be registered at Security’s Pass and Decal Branch. Pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, hunting bows, pellet and BB guns, and inert war trophies are considered weapons.

People residing in family housing may store their registered weapons in their homes. People residing in the barracks or Navy Lodge must store their weapons in the station armory.
