The Naval Branch Health Clinic at CID Corry Station is an open access clinic for active-duty personnel only. The clinic is in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Joint Ambulatory Care Center on the south side of Corry Station. All medical care will be conducted at the clinic during normal hours. Any after-hours urgent care needs will be available at Naval Hospital Pensacola’s Urgent Care Center, open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Call the clinic if you have questions concerning your medical needs. Uniform of the day is required when visiting the clinic.

Medical Services Provided
NBHC Corry provides nonemergency medical care in a patient-centered primary care clinic. Most medical issues are managed first by our providers and corpsmen, and if they cannot be treated within our clinic, patients will be referred to a specialist. Some of the different services performed are immunizations, STD exams, Pap smears, Depo-Provera shots, overseas and sea duty screening, laboratory procedures, audiology testing and preventive health assessments. NBHC Corry generally has same-day appointments, and urgent walk-ins are accepted during weekday clinic hours. Special scheduling is done for physicals Wednesday afternoons, and there is walk-in scheduling for the following:

NBHC Corry has a group of dental providers and technicians that are here to provide quality care and put you at ease during your visit.
Routine dental services are provided, including annual exams, overseas and sea duty screenings, cleanings, restorative work and X-rays. Call 850-452-6326, ext. 4300 to schedule appointments. Dental readiness is often a challenge for new military personnel. If you are told you are a Class 3 (a cavity that needs filling), make an appointment ASAP. If you are a Class 2 (need a cleaning), call for an appointment when it does not disrupt your training schedule.

CORRY BOWLING CENTER
The upgraded facility has 16 lanes catering to league bowling, open bowling, parties and special events such as cosmic bowling, command functions and birthday parties. New features for parties and special events include short, interactive games and competitions. Automatic bumpers are available on all 16 lanes. If you’re hungry, the Corry Grill is inside the main entrance along with the Old Crow’s Nest bar to provide beverage options.
The Corry Grill serves a variety of foods at a reasonable cost for lunch and dinner. Available items are one-quarter pound and one-half pound hamburgers and cheeseburgers, a variety of chicken sandwiches, strips and wraps, salads, grilled cheese and finger foods such as cheese sticks, nachos and mini tacos. The grill also has cookies and funnel cake for those with a sweet tooth.
OLD CROW’S NEST BAR
The Old Crow’s Nest features a relaxing atmosphere. It offers a full bar with 40 bottled beers, six beers on tap, wine and liquor. There is a pool table available, jukebox, board and card games, and four HD smart televisions for your entertainment.

The Corry Child Development Center (CDC) is one of the largest military CDCs within the region. The center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which promotes excellence in early childhood education. The center provides full-time, part-day (preschool only) and hourly care for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Hours for full-day care are 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hours for part-day care are 8 a.m. to noon for two, three or five days a week. Florida’s free Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK) is offered for children who turn 4 by Sept. 1. Give Parents a Break (GPAB) nights are also offered monthly at the current hourly care rate. The programs are open to all active-duty military, DOD civilians, Reservists on orders, DOD contractors, other federal employees and retirees.

CORRY SCHOOL AGE CARE (SAC)
Corry School Age Care is accredited by Council on Accreditation as a program that provides exemplary developmental care for school-age children. SAC works in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of America and 4-H Clubs. SAC offers before- and after-school care during the school year, camps for school breaks and summer, and hourly care for children in Kindergarten through 12 years old.
Hours for programs are 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. GPAB nights are also offered monthly at the current hourly care rate. The programs are open to all active-duty military, DOD civilians, Reservists on orders, DOD contractors, other federal employees and retirees. CHILD DEVELOPMENT HOME PROGRAM

The NAS Pensacola Child Development Home (CDH) program provides quality childcare in safe and healthy environments for children 6 weeks to 12 years old. The CDH program is designed to meet the unique needs of military and DOD schedules. CDH providers may offer care for days, night, evenings and weekend care when authorized to do so. CDH providers offer safe environments designed to meet the developmental needs of children enrolled and include nutritious meals and snacks. Escambia and Santa Rosa county residents may apply for certification; applicants are not required to be military-affiliated. Those who live off-base must also obtain either a state license or state registration prior to becoming Navy certified.
CDH applicants and all family members must complete a rigorous background screening to include a CNACI clearance, fingerprinting and all local background checks. In addition, they are required to attend a 40-hour orientation training. This class is offered quarterly at no cost. Once the file is complete, approved and a state license or registration is provided, CDH applicants are required to obtain general liability insurance. All files are reviewed by a Quality Review Board, which provides recommendations to the Commanding Officer prior to certification being authorized. Becoming a Certified Navy CDH Provider is a privilege authorized by the Commanding Officer.

Parents are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the potential provider, meet them and tour the home before making an informed decision of where to place their child.

Family Fitness Center

The military family is a top priority at NAS Pensacola and Corry Station. This standalone Family Fitness Center focuses on those with young children and youth fitness. It is equipped with a complete range of cardio machines, adult and youth Selectorized equipment, dumbbells and weighted bars. Certified trainers are on site and can provide equipment orientation, individual fitness programs, and youth fitness programs as well as command PT. A wide range of group exercise classes for all ages and all levels of fitness offered. Youths 10 to 14 years of age can use the equipment once they have completed an orientation session with a trainer. In addition, there are two play areas: one for toddlers and one for pre-K. Both areas have age-appropriate toys. The Family Fitness Center is designed to promote healthy lifestyles for life. This facility is unique as it provides opportunities for parents to work out while their children can play in an enclosed area in front of them. Parents are responsible for their children.

The Liberty Center is inside the Corry Bowling and Recreation Center. The program targets single or unaccompanied active-duty personnel between the ages of 18 and 25 stationed onboard NAS Pensacola Corry Station. The Liberty Center contains multiple TV-viewing areas, featuring the Navy Motion Picture program (over 800 titles), free billiards, free Wi-Fi and computer use, free printing and faxing, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game systems with all the newest titles and equipment, free popcorn during evenings, as well as daily bike rentals during daylight hours. Liberty plans and carries out special events and monthly trips, including concerts, visits to Orlando, holiday parties, sporting events (such as New Orleans Saints and Florida State University football, Pelicans NBA and Blue Wahoo’s baseball), paintball, go karts, local festivals, sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and much more. Liberty Center is open daily, including holidays.

MWR Sports offers a variety of sports competitions for active duty and spouses, Ready Reservists and DOD permanent contracted personnel. Recreation sports opportunities provide a fun way to enjoy sports in a noncompetitive nature throughout the entire year. The Captain’s Cup Program is a more formal and competitive sports option. For the Captain’s Cup, each registered command will compete in leagues/tournaments throughout the year to accumulate points. The command that finishes the year with the most points will be presented the Captain’s Cup Trophy. The trophy will be on display at the winning command until defeated. The MWR Sports Office also takes reservations and gear issue for anyone who wants to use our Sports Complex or Ballfields and Pavilions.

BLUE ANGEL PARK

Blue Angel Park has it all on beautiful Perdido Bay off Highway 98 West on the Florida-Alabama line. It is about 20 minutes outside the back gate of NAS Pensacola. The park is open for RV, primitive, group and day camping and also provides numerous group and family picnic areas. Additionally, there are 12 two-bedroom mobile homes for rent as well as one-room camp cabins either daily or weekly. Campground B area is a full-service
RV park with water, sewer drops, concrete pads and 50/30 amp hookups. Campground A has water and 30 amp service with an adjoining dump station. Ten sites now have 50 amp service. The park has three laundry facilities for patron use. RV/Boat storage is also available. Dry storage sites are behind a secure fence and are rented on a monthly basis.
Sailboat, paddleboard and kayak rentals are available Friday through Monday on beautiful Perdido Bay. Sailboat lessons are given each Saturday and Sunday by reservation. An 18-hole miniature golf course and three great playground areas for the children are available. The park has Danger Zone Paint Ball, featuring all the latest equipment and supplies. Recently, 10 new Trek bicycles and geocaching were added to the outdoor recreation programs. There are three popular 18-hole disc golf courses. Palmetto Course caters to the novice. Pine Course is for intermediate players. Oaks Course is for the advanced player. All 54 holes have professional and amateur tee boxes. Disc golf is open to the public. The park is handicapped-accessible.

The Wellness Center conducts fitness and wellness programs, including nutrition counseling for active-duty personnel and their families, retirees and their families, and DOD civilians. All staff are certified in one or more programs i.e., rowing, spinning (indoor cycling with instructor), TRX suspension training, group exercise and one-on-one personal training and Navy Basic. All patrons start with a personal interview with the wellness manager to have a program designed for their current fitness level, short- and long-term goals and objectives. Active-duty members are not required to have an interview unless they are looking for a specific program or have been referred by their command. Short-term visitors and member guests can be accommodated with answering the PAR-Q. The Wellness Center has all the equipment and staff experience necessary to design and execute programs from the deconditioned individual to those requiring specific, high-intensity and pre-deployment type training. MWR publishes a monthly schedule of all group exercise classes.
WENZEL GYM & FITNESS CENTER

The Wenzel Gym & Fitness Center is a two-story fitness facility with a regulation-size basketball court, two racquetball courts and a multipurpose room. The center also offers full showers and lockers. You will find dedicated rooms for PRT-certified cardio equipment, along with other cardio options, free weights, core and stretching area and state-of-the art LifeFitness Selectorized equipment. Certified trainers are on site and can provide equipment orientation and individual fitness programs as well as large and small Command PT. A flag football regulation turf field and track are adjacent to the fitness center as well as full outdoor volleyball and outdoor basketball courts. There is a 4-mile fitness trail that outlines the perimeter of the installation with fitness stations along the trail. Last but not least, there is an outdoor Fit Locker as part of our NOFFS Zone that gives patrons the option to workout outside with a full set of bumper plates and otherequipment.

Located at the entrance of Corry Housing, this area consists of playing fields for T-ball, baseball, football and soccer along with a concession stand, restrooms, plenty of parking and a playground. Youth sports are also offered at the Corry Station Youth Center, including spring and fall soccer, flag football, T-ball, coach-pitch baseball, cheerleading andbasketball.
This outdoor 25-meter, L-shaped pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. A handicap ramp, basketball goal, two climbing walls, dedicated lap lanes and a large recreational area make this a versatile summer destination. Early-morning lap swim, aqua aerobics, master’s training, youth swim team, group morning and evening lessons and private “one-on-ones” are just a few of the programs offered. Recreation and lap swim are available at no charge for active duty and their dependents, retirees and children aged 5 and under. A nominal fee is charged for retiree family members, DOD personnel and contractors. Patrons ages 10 to 16 may swim unaccompanied by completing the Navy SPLASH swim test. The Veterinarian Clinic is open to all active-duty military, retirees and their families. The Veterinary Clinic is open for product sales 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Clinics are scheduled by appointment, generally Monday through Friday. The clinic provides routine preventive medicine products and services to include heartworm prevention, flea prevention, vaccinations, heartworm testing, feline leukemia and FIV testing, deworming and health certificates for travel.
Call for information on PCSing with your pets as soon as you receive information on your orders. The preparation time to send your pet to many overseas locations can be up to eight months.
The clinic also provides routine sick call to include skin, eye or ear problems with some additional diagnostic services available. The clinic offers limited routine surgical care (including spay, neuter and minor surgery) as mission, equipment and personnel allow. In case of an emergency, call a local veterinarian or the local emergency clinic for support.
The clinic also visits Whiting Field on a monthly basis to provide routine preventive medicine products and services to include heartworm prevention, flea prevention, vaccinations, heartworm testing, feline leukemia and FIV testing, deworming and health certificates for travel.
