NAS Whidbey Island Administration


The Administrative Department processes incoming and outgoing official correspondence, agent and assist letters, security management (military personnel security clearances, security building access and information security), records management, and military and civilian awards. It also handles publication of command directives and forms, and preparation and publishing of the NAS Whidbey Island Plan of the Week. In addition, it provides personnel accounting support to military personnel, including processing of leave, basic allowances for housing and subsistence (BAH/BAS) requests, PASSsupport functions, sponsor program, and administers the base limited duty program.

Those assigned directly to the air station should make their first stop at the base Quarterdeck in Building 385 when reporting to NAS Whidbey Island. There they will be directed to the Administrative Department on the second floor where they will begin the check-in process. Their sponsors will be contacted to come meet them and help with their check-in.
