This private, nonprofit community action agency assists low-income people in Island County in developing and maintaining self-reliance. They offer community resource referrals, low-income energy assistance, including Salvation Army vouchers, basic food program outreach, emergency housing and eviction prevention assistance, supportive services to veterans’ families, half-price dump passes and low-income housing referrals. Intensive support services accompany assistance programs.
