The American Red Cross provides emergency communications and access to emergency financial assistance 24/7 for members of the military. For Emergency Assistance call 877-272-7337. The American Red Cross Serving Northwest Washington also offers a “Coping with Deployments,” “Psychological First Aid for Military Families” and “Reconnection Workshops” to support military members, veterans and their families during any stage of the deployment cycle. Classes and workshops are free, taught by licensed, active mental health professionals who are Red Cross volunteers, and are taught in a confidential environment. In addition, the Red Cross offers disaster preparedness information, tools, and mobile apps. To schedule a presentation, call 360-733-3290.

The Red Cross provides disaster assistance and offers health and safety training, including first aid and CPR. Course information and registration is available online at www.redcross.org or call 800-Red-Cross (800-733-2767).
