Bachelor Quarters

Permanent Party

Currently, single permanent party personnel (E-1 to E-4) assigned to host and tenant commands are provided berthing accommodations in Building S-454. Due to limited berthing space and CNIC directives E-5 to E-9 are encouraged to draw Single Basic Allowance for Housing and live off base. Personnel assigned to Building 454 are provided a private room, and private bath.

 

Room furnishings include, a full size bed, headboard, credenza, large mirror, lamp, round table with two chairs, desk with carrel, storage units, large refrigerator and wall art. Amenities include a medium size microwave and access to telephone and cable TV services (for a fee). A lounge with a wide screen TV (with cable service provided) a laundry room and a functional kitchen are provided on each deck. On the first deck there are two NMCI computers provided for residents use. For additional information call (901) 874-5724 (DSN 882).

 

On Station Housing Assistance

The Navy Housing Welcome Center is located in the McCandless Building (794), and is open weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Directional signs are posted to help newcomers find the building. We can be contacted at (901) 874-5547 or by e-mail at Millingtonhousing@navy.mil.

 

Navy Housing is still the first stop for Navy personnel. Military members desiring family housing can apply by mail, in person or email. In order to be placed on the waiting list for housing now managed by our Public Private Venture (PPV) partner, Forest City, military members should provide the housing office with an application form (DD1746), a copy of PCS orders and a current Record of Emergency Data. Housing applications are processed for placement on the waiting list and contact information is provided to Forest City. Navy Housing continues our service by acting as a liaison between the military member and the PPV partner on housing issues.

 

Off Station Housing Assistance

All incoming personnel are directed by their orders to report to the Housing Office before making any commitments for housing (rental or sales) in the community.

 

Referral Counselors provide assistance with real estate listings, lease agreements, landlord/tenant issues and other problems.

 

Housing referral services are available to all personnel as well as DoD civilians and retirees.

 

Address all housing correspondence to Commanding Officer, Naval Support Activity Mid-South, Code N93D, 5722 Integrity Drive, Building 794, Millington, TN 38054-5045.

 

Forest City
Residential Management

Your first point of contact for housing qualifying eligibility will be with our Housing Partners at the Navy Housing Office located in the Wainwright Building (456).

 

A Housing Representative will review your application with respect to your pay grade and number of family members to determine eligibility. Housing will immediately refer you to our Forest City Residential Management Relocation Office which is also conveniently located within the Neighborhood Management Office. We will greet you with warm reception to ensure you and your family receive the personal attention, kindness and caring we would extend to our own family.

 

At Forest City Residential Management the world’s friendliest Relocation Specialists are here to provide exceptional service always. In assessing your personal desires in housing, we will tour the communities in our courtesy vans ensuring your family’s comfort in search of your preferred home. Upon your acceptance of the home, you will complete two forms to begin your Resident File and complete a one-year rental agreement upon move-in. The rent for your home is equal to the BAH at with dependants rate for your pay grade and the ease of allotment rental payment is initiated for you by our accounts specialists.

 

To assist you in your transition, we provide relocation information packets including change of address kits, a convenience listing of telephone numbers and other information that your may find helpful in your move. We’ll even provide directions to local businesses, restaurants and attractions. For us, it not just about renting you a house, it’s making you feel at home in your new community. Temporary Housing

Cottages at Glen Eagle

Enjoy the comforts of these cottages managed by NSA Mid-South MWR. The Cottages are great for golfers or anyone looking to spend a few nights in the Memphis area. They’re conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Memphis, home of Beale Street and many other attractions. They contain three bedrooms, 1-1/2 baths, separate living and dining rooms, full kitchen and a covered carport. Amenities include a dining area for six, TV with VCR/DVD combination, complete cooking and serving items and bed/bath linens. The Cottages at Glen Eagle are open to all MWR authorized patrons and the general public. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed in cottages. Navy Lodge

Navy Lodge provides living accommodations for patrons with unlimited Navy Exchange privileges. Permanent Change of Station reservations will be accepted 90 days in advance. Featured are one, two and three bedroom units, smoking and non-smoking rooms. Each fully air-conditioned unit has a separate living area, bath, free basic cable television and fully-equipped kitchenette including stove, microwave, refrigerator and cooking and eating utensils.

 

For recreational enjoyment, tennis courts, a golf course and a fishing lake are nearby. There are two guest laundries and picnic facilities on site, and shopping facilities are close by.

Navy Inns

Navy Inns is a concept locally initiated by NSA Mid-South with support from the Navy Lodge Program, Navy Exchange Service Command. The goals of the Navy Inns are to manage and operate transient lodging with non-appropriated fund support, while increasing the quality of life for Sailors. The objective is to provide exceptional guest service to all that stay there. The Navy Inns, a totally non-smoking environment, features single rooms and suites with satellite television, telephones, private baths with amenities, air-conditioning and includes ironing boards, irons and hair dryers. All single guest rooms have microwaves, refrigerators and in-room coffee service. The suites are three rooms with a beautifully furnished living area, bedroom with king-size bed and full kitchenette with "honor bar." All suites have data lines for Internet access and DSN capabilities. Other services offered by the Navy Inns are heavy continental breakfast, laundry and dry-cleaning service, vending machines, coin-operated laundry facilities, ice machines, patios and picnic areas. Navy Inns is committed to ensuring the best guest services possible.

Transient Party
