SPONSORSHIP

Contact your sponsor and advise them of your estimated arrival time and flight information if applicable prior to your arrival at Patrick AFB.

Sponsorship is vital to the relocation process. Don’t PCS without talking to your sponsor before departing for Patrick AFB. Your sponsor will answer any questions you have about the base and the local area, make lodging/dorm arrangements and meet you upon arrival. Your sponsor will be there to help you and your family until you are settled into your new community.

If you have not been in touch with a sponsor and your departure is nearing, contact your gaining unit or call the Airman & Family Readiness Center at 321-494-5676.

TEMPORARY LODGING

Space Coast Inn

Building 720 840 Falcon Ave.

www.gopatrickfl.com/space-coast-inn.html

The Space Coast Inn provides safe, comfortable and clean accommodations for active-duty members and their families who are being assigned to Patrick AFB as well as retired military personnel traveling in Florida. Because of seasonal high-occupancy rates, you are urged to contact lodging well in advance to secure your reservation. New arrivals have priority, but it is advised that you or your sponsor take care of your billeting arrangements as soon as possible. Reservations can be made by your sponsor or by calling the inn. Check-in is at 3:30 p.m. The inn accepts cash, check or credit card, and payment must be made in advance. All lodging facilities are nonsmoking.

Because of the limited temporary lodging family units available during permanent change of station season — March 1 to
Sept. 30 — only one unit can be reserved per family. Amenities include full kitchens with full-size refrigerator, full-size stove, full-size dishwasher and a stackable washer/dryer. Housekeeping services are provided daily. A few family units are pet-friendly and will require an additional pet service fee. Shot records and pet identification are required at check-in. Rottweilers, pit bull terriers, snakes and other exotic pets are not permitted.

Check the website for room rates.
