Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day Closed

Looking for a fun place to grab a quick snack or a hot meal? For variety and extended dining hours, Ten Pin Cafe is the place. Ten Pin Cafe is the only place on base that serves breakfast all day.

The Inside Scoop serves hand-dipped ice cream and is conveniently located inside the Bowling Center. It is also available for parties, small meetings and special functions.

Enjoy breakfast or lunch with a fantastic view overlooking the course, seven days a week at the golf snack bar. Three Eagles Cafe offers lunch specials Monday through Friday in addition to its normal menu.

Serves daily breakfast combinations and lunch time favorites such as:

The snack bar is a favorite meeting area after a round of golf or to watch sports on TV.

Havelock Chili Festival


Held in October, the Havelock Chili Festival draws in crowds for food, entertainment and a variety of vendors. A chili cook-off, chicken wing and salsa competition mean festival-goers are in for a spicy and delicious event.

North Carolina Pickle Festival


Celebrating — what else? — those delicious, briny treats, the North Carolina Pickle Festival is held in Mount Olive’s downtown business area. Thousands attend the festival, which has grown to include live entertainment, an antique car show, carnival rides, a petting zoo and a variety of food and vendors. The festival is held inlate April.

Pig in the Park


Pig in the Park celebrates the barbecue tradition of Wayne County. Teams compete for the title of Wayne County’s Best Barbecue in a whole-hog cook-off. The event also includes arts and crafts vendors, activities and entertainment for children, and live music. Proceeds from the festival benefit the county’s Boys & Girls Clubs.
