The Department of Preventive Medicine serves as the public health department for Tripler Army Medical Center, U.S. Army Health Clinic Schofield Barracks and all supported Army installations in Hawaii. It is comprised of seven distinct areas providing public and population health services for Tripler and all eligible beneficiaries, civilian employees, military units, commanders, communities and installations.
Programs and services include: Army Public Health Nursing, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Health Physics, Army Hearing Program, and Infection Control and Epidemiology.
