I was working full time, the definition of full time 80 + hours, trying to keep up with all the changes happening in my corporate world job.
I became the care giver for my “mom” who had suffered a heart attack and then had chronic kidney failure.
I am now getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep. Waking early, starting my day with some organizational tasks. Attending meetings, going to the gym, I am very aware of what I eat and how it makes me feel afterwards. Have learned to turn down that last cookie, or piece of left over pound cake sitting on the counter.
