Composed of four major elements, FLHS provides active duty, retired military and their families with on-base services to include hospitality, entertainment, lifestyle services, dining, catering, lodging, social and recreational activities. FLHS strives to provide the most relevant facilities and activities to Camp Pendleton patrons, while maintaining a consistent “Best in Class” quality and service in all business components. The focus is to provide each patron with a positive interaction and a memorable experience at every facility. Profits are reinvested into Quality of Life Programs which maintain the MCCS standards of service while offering patrons the comforts of home through nationally branded concepts and an exceptional level of service that Marines, Sailors and their families deserve.
Food & Entertainment provides distinguishable direct and indirect businesses that are recognized by our patrons and meet the population demand. Camp Pendleton is home to nationally branded food concepts including Dunkin’ Donuts, Sonic Drive-In, Panda Express, Moe’s Southwest Grill, McDonald’s, Roberto’s Mexican Food, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Domino’s, Wendy’s, Yogurtland, Ramone’s Mexican BBQ, Subway, Schlotzsky’s Deli, Cinnabon, Carvel Ice Cream, and Coco’s Bakery and Restaurant.
Hospitality encompasses a variety of operations that are guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on anyone visiting Camp Pendleton. The award-winning beaches have undergone several upgrades to enhance the services offered to patrons. The Del Mar Beach Resort premiered “La Casa Del Mar”; a brand new center where patrons can host events right on the beach. San Onofre Beach upgrades include the renovations of the beachside cottages and the newly restored historic Beach House which was unveiled this year. Patrons can book a classic event at this historic landmark and experience the “Early California” feel of the new cottages while enjoying one of the most sought out surfing destinations. The Inns of the Corps Ward Lodge expanded its offerings to provide pet friendly rooms while the Inns of the Corps Pacific Views Lodge continues to be the pinnacle in hospitality for on-base accommodations. MCCS prides itself in providing the perfect on-base lodging options for patron’s every need.
The Pacific Views Event Center (PVEC) offers six event spaces and catering options to accommodate any event. Whether it is a chic wedding, retirement ceremony, winter formal, social breakfast, an elegant sit-down dinner, formal conference, meeting or training seminar, the PVEC is sure to satisfy your every need. The facility also caters events at other locations such as weddings on the beach, office parties and unit functions.
Services focuses on providing patrons with a collection of quality direct and indirect businesses that provide a vital assortment of everyday needs to patrons. Some offerings include full-service tailor shops, barbershops, optical with optometry services, a GameStop, car and truck rentals, dry cleaning, self-storage, a Paintball Park and base-wide Wi-Fi services. Direct Vending Services has been expanded to ensure MCCS is able to cater to patrons needs and deliver a customized variety of products at the patron’s request.

The Vision Center at Camp Pendleton is a full-care facility that includes an optometry office and an optical shop. Services are available to all active personnel, spouses, children, retirees and DOD personnel. Free exams are available for all eligible TRICARE Prime patients. Express eyeglass services are available on many single vision prescriptions. Contact lenses are also available. The Vision Center is inside the Pacific Views Marine Corps Exchange next to the barbershop in Building 2010.

The Retail Division operates more than 35 retail locations, including 18 Marine Marts, and two Marine Corps Exchanges (MCX), the largest conveniently located near the main gate across from the commissary. The Pacific Views MCX offers the best in shopping with department store features and several specialty stores including a barbershop, optical services, garden center, tailor shop, florist, Dunkin’ Donuts, Yogurtland, emblematic station with Engraver’s Gallery, Pro Customs, GNC, wireless advocates, iDevice Pros and watch repair.
