The centers strive to meet each child’s social, emotional and intellectual needs to instill in each child a feeling of competence and positive self-concept.

Children of active-duty military personnel, DOD civilian personnel, reservists on active duty and DOD contractors are eligible. Fees are based on total family income. To register your child, visit www.militarychildcare.com. Once you are accepted to a facility, you will be required to submit a current leave and earnings statement or pay stub, the sponsor’s Page 2 and the child’s immunization records.

Providers may also offer more flexibility in their services, with part-time, hourly, evening, weekend and deployment care. Homes are required to meet Navy child care guidelines and many of the homes are also licensed by the state of Washington.
