The Joe Dugger Fitness and Wellness Center (Building S-499) is available to assist in achieving your fitness goals. Whether you’re just starting out or have been exercising on a regular basis we have classes, equipment and programs to meet that need. The center offers a full range of state-of-the-art strength and circuit training machines, free-weight areas, saunas, steam rooms, showers, lockers, equipment issue and running trails designed to meet and exceed Navy standards and those of any physical fitness program in our community.
Morning, afternoon and evening group exercise classes are available Monday through Friday. Along with the classic strength, flexibility aerobic classes there are also several that include routines focused on women, toddlers and older members of our community. Individuals who prefer or require activities more tailored to their needs have the option to participate in a personalized training program. The center’s personal trainers are certified and trained to assist with a baseline fitness assessment using the Microfit Fitness Evaluation System. They can design a personal fitness program and provide one-on-one guidance to help customers stay motivated.
When you could use a little pampering or stress relief, you can treat yourself to a session of Massage Therapy.
