Housing Service Center
The Housing Service Center for Naval Station Norfolk is at 7924 14th St. The Housing Service Center has dedicated and trained professionals prepared to help you with all of your housing needs. They will help you find the right permanent housing accommodations when you arrive at Naval Station Norfolk and help you start your search for a new home when it’s time to relocate to your next PCS location.
The center maintains extensive lists of properties for sale or rent, including single-family homes, town homes, condos and apartments, as well as local hotel information. The center also has information about the Rental Partnership Program, which allows active-duty service members to move into participating apartment communities without paying a security deposit. In most cases, the application fee is waived and rent is provided at a discounted price. Other services include lease and purchase agreement counseling and review, landlord-tenant dispute resolution, and workshops for buying and selling a home.

Military Family Housing
Military family housing at Naval Station Norfolk is provided by Lincoln Military Housing. There are 10 communities for Naval Station Norfolk. Pets are allowed at each community. However, you must register your pet with the housing office. There are also restrictions on the number, weight and breed of pets. A pet security deposit may be required.

Unaccompanied personnel in the ranks of E-4 and below who are reporting to Naval Station Norfolk, tenant commands and attached units must report to the Housing Service Center’s unaccompanied housing front desk in Building O22 (Groshong Hall). Housing Service Center personnel will determine and explain your eligibility and housing options. Most personnel in the ranks of E-1 to E-3 and E-4 with less than four years of service will be required to live in unaccompanied housing. More senior personnel may, under certain circumstances, be eligible to live in unaccompanied housing as well. Contact the Housing Service Center for more information.
Unaccompanied housing consists of 11 buildings with more than 2,500 beds for permanent party personnel and students. Rooms are clean, well maintained and fully furnished. There is one market-style facility. Units consist of a full kitchen, a stackable washer and dryer, living rooms with a 26-inch TV, two bedrooms and two bathrooms for four residents. One facility has kitchenettes with a two-burner cooktop, a stackable washer and dryer, one bathroom and two private sleeping rooms, each with a 26-inch TV. The other facilities have microwaves, refrigerators, one bathroom and a room with two twin beds to house two people. Lounges and laundry rooms have cable-provided televisions. In-room common spaces located at Building X1 have TVs provided; residents pay for cable service. All lounges are Wi-Fi capable.
