The Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) supports mission readiness by providing deployment support, career education, relocation support, financial management and crisis response to active duty personnel and families.
Services include Information and Referral: One stop for any information. Counseling and Advocacy: Licensed therapists provide short-term counseling for individuals, couples, families and children. Counselors address adjustment issues and situational stress as well as crisis and other serious issues. Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR): Provides Advocate training, prevention and victim support. New Parent Support Home Visitation (NPSHV): Provides support, assistance and education to expectant mothers, and parents of newborns to age 3; supports parents who may be far from extended family, or separated by deployment. Transition Assistance Program (TAP): Career counseling, resume writing, interviewing skills and job search workshops help separating or retiring personnel with their post-Navy careers. Family Employment Readiness Program (FERP): Provides family members career education, counseling and help with job search. Life Skills Education: Contributes to family readiness by providing classes, including Communication Skills, Stress Management, Anger Management, Divorce and Parenting, and Healthy Relationships.
Relocation Assistance Program (RAP): Everything you need to know to set up a smooth move.
Personal Financial Management (PFM): Financial education, planning and counseling for commands and individuals. Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP): provides support to Family Members with special needs and coordinates with other agencies ensure comprehensive medical, education and community support. Ombudsman Program: Command ombudsmen are the links between Command Officers and Families; FFSC provides training, support information and resources to ombudsmen and commands.
