NAS Lemoore Education and Academics Libraries


Public libraries in Kings and Fresno counties offer learning, recreation, distance education, internet connections and other resources for users — all for free. In addition, school libraries that support the curriculum and offer internet access and other resources are in most public and private schools, and academic and special libraries are found in colleges and universities. The California State Library,, supports libraries in the state with resources, interlibrary loan and other assistance.

Kings County Library

The Kings County Library is a member of the San Joaquin Valley Library System, a cooperative network of 10 public library jurisdictions in the counties of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Tulare. It is also a member of the Heartland Regional Library Network of the Library of California. Kings County Library has seven branches.

Fresno County Public Library

The Fresno County Public Library provides collections and services through its Central Resource Library and 34 branches. It is also part of the San Joaquin Valley Library System.
