College/Technical Training

Minot AFB offers a wide variety of degree programs through four on-site and fully accredited universities. The four universities are Central Michigan University (CMU), Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), Park University (PU), and Minot State University (MSU). These institutions are open to military, dependents, and the general public on base or at the campus. You can obtain an Associates, Bachelors, or Masters Degree. Vocational Certificates are also available. All the schools are approved for financial aid. Military and their dependents pay in-state tuition while attending an on-base school. For cost of classes, please contact the school you wish to attend. For more information, please see the Base Education Center website.

Tuition Assistance (TA) is provided at a rate of 100% to most active duty service members. Officers will incur a two year commitment if TA is used. TA is not available for dependents.

Additional Services

Minot AFB Education Center offers test proctor services for those taking online courses or technical courses from institutions out of the area.

If you are interested in Officer Training School, The Air Force Academy, or other commissioning programs we have the resources and personnel ready to help.
