AUTOMOTIVE SKILLS AND SERVICE CENTER
The Fort Knox Automotive Skills and Service Center has ASE-certified technicians available to make repairs for the Fort Knox community’s automobile needs. Technicians can perform alignments, tuneups, full brake service, full diagnostics, heating and cooling, inspections for trips, safety and needed repairs, and more. The center is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. Auto Crafts carries a parts inventory and can get most parts on the same day depending on availability. It also carries a full line of tires (Cooper, Multi-Mile and Yokohama), or you can speak with a tire expert and they can order most brands with two-day service.
The Fort Knox Automotive Craft Shop is a 42-bay facility with bays designated for specific automotive repairs and maintenance-related activities. Customers have their choice of bays for various types of work. It includes a welding area, lift bays, general flat bays, oil change bays and motorcycle lifts. To utilize self-help bays, there is a mandatory safety brief that includes a safety video and review of the shop rules that is mandatory in order to obtain a DA Form 3031.

BARR MEMORIAL LIBRARY
Barr Memorial Library serves the educational, research and recreational needs of the Fort Knox community by providing a diverse array of materials and services. Children’s programming includes weekly preschool story hour programs from September through May and a fun-filled summer reading program. A teen program is also offered for youth ages 12 to 17. Special programs and events for the entire family are planned throughout the year. The library provides 24/7 services through its online catalog with access to more than 2,000 electronic books, links to AKO-based research databases and access to the Tumble Book Library, a collection of more than 150 animated, talking picture books in a format kids love. State-of-the-art computer workstations provide patrons with email and internet access, Microsoft Office Suite applications software and specialized research databases. Professional librarians are available to help find materials and assist with research and there is no charge for any of these programs or services. BETTER OPPORTUNITIES FOR SINGLE SOLDIERS
The Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers program supports the overall quality of life for single Soldiers. BOSS gives single Soldiers the opportunity to participate in and contribute to their respective communities through community service. BOSS identifies quality-of-life issues and concerns by recommending improvements through the chain of command. It also encourages and assists single Soldiers in identifying and planning for recreational and leisure activities. The BOSS program is open to all single Soldiers regardless of rank, geographical bachelors, single parents, and DA and DOD single civilians. It is at 268 Knox St., Building 2002. LONG RECREATION CENTER
The Long Recreation Center offers high-tech recreation opportunities for all military and CAC ID card holders ages 18 and up who want to get out of their barracks rooms but stay on the installation. While computer gaming is the main attraction, troops also gather to watch sporting events on large, high-definition, flat-screen TVs while eating, gaming and mingling. The facility features free Wi-Fi, Alienware gaming computers, Xbox One, PS4, 7.1 surround sound theater, poker tables, billiards and foosball tables as well as monthly programs and activities. Houston Bowling Center is an award-winning facility, which includes a pro shop, the Strike Zone-themed eatery, 32 state-of-the-art synthetic lanes, QubicaAMF 90Xli pinsetters, Conqueror Pro automatic scorers, on-lane televisions and bumper bowling for small children. League bowling is offered to individuals, couples, children, seniors and organizations or groups of all ages and all levels of ability. The bowling center hosts special event bowling for organizations, groups and tournaments. Call to schedule special events or birthday bowling parties. EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT CENTER
The Outdoor Recreation Equipment Checkout Center carries a wide range of rental items, including boats and campers, camping and sports equipment, lawn and garden tools, household tools, furniture and picnic equipment. FALLS LANDING MINIATURE GOLF
Located adjacent to the Fort Knox Water Park, the Falls Landing miniature golf course offers an 18-hole challenge surrounded by trickling streams, cascading waterfalls and realistic rock formations for players of all ages to enjoy. The natural setting of the course delivers a fun and relaxing way to spend the day with friends and family. A spacious patio area with chairs, tables and umbrellas is available for relaxing after an intense game on the Falls Landing course. Have an upcoming event to host? FORT KNOX DOG PARK
The Fort Knox Dog Park is a facility set aside for dogs to exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under the supervision of their owners. It has benches for your comfort, nearby parking, water, tools for waste disposal, and regular maintenance and cleaning of the grounds. HANSEN FRAME SHOP
Located in the Hansen Center, Hansen Frame Shop provides the Fort Knox community a variety of custom framing and self-help framing options. It also offers a complete awards and engraving center with state-of-the-art laser engraving and sublimation capabilities for personalized coffee mugs and more. HANSEN THRIFT STORE
The Hansen Thrift Store, in the Hansen Center, is the place to find gently used furniture, clothing, baby strollers, books, toys, knickknacks and dozens of other items. Complete one-stop travel and leisure travel services are available through Fort Knox Leisure Travel, inside the Hansen Center. Discount tickets for local attractions as well as those in Tennessee, Florida, Ohio and Indiana are available through Leisure Travel, along with hotel and motel discounts. For all of your leisure travel needs, Leisure Travel office travel professionals are there to serve you. Also, selected special events like Broadway Across America and concert tickets in Louisville are available at the Leisure Travel office. LINDSEY GOLF COURSE
Lindsey Golf Course is a challenging, PGA-certified, 18-hole golf course with Bermuda fairways and newly designed and renovated sand bunkers. It offers a fully equipped golf shop and features a grill, a snack bar, driving range operations and a teaching professional for individual, group or clinic lessons. Annual passes for singles, families and corporations are available. Your annual pass holder fee includes unlimited play, reserved tee times up to 14 days in advance, exclusive tournaments and other special programs. There is also an annual cart fee rental available, which allows you unlimited use of golf carts. Lindsey Golf Course is open to the public, so stop by to check out annual fees. SABER & QUILL
The Saber & Quill Catering and Conference Center offers seven well-appointed and newly renovated rooms to host events with 30 to 300 guests. The center has a variety of menus and can tailor them to each event. The highly motivated and trained staff will assist you in your planning efforts. Catering hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday by appointment.

SAMUEL ADAMS BREWHOUSE
The Samuel Adams Brewhouse has something for everyone. It is a great place to grab some lunch and relax, then come back later in the evening and join the best party this area has to offer. Samuel Adams Brewhouse offers karaoke, featuring Spotlight Entertainment with more than 50,000 songs to choose from with rhythm and blues, hip-hop, country, rock, Latin, oldies, German, Korean and Thai tunes included. Music is updated monthly and includes current radio hits. Spotlight also provides the best of dance. Camp Carlson Army Recreational Area on U.S. Highway 60W offers a conference center, 10 family cabins with bathrooms, three group cabins, 53 recreational vehicle sites (39 have full hookups, 18 have just water and electric hookups), tent camping and picnic areas. Carlson also has a 25-acre fishing lake stocked with bluegill, catfish and bass.
