Personal And Professional Education Program

The Education Office is located in Room 217 of the Jerry Marvel Training and Education Building 4335, C Street. The Education Office administers the command’s Off-Duty Voluntary Education Program using tuition assistance and offers education programs ranging from high school completion/GED to Doctoral Degrees. Counseling is provided for career and educational pursuits using the DISCOVER research-based assessments that cover career-relevant interests, abilities, and job values designed to help our military, their dependents and civilian Marines identify their strengths and needs, to make good career and education decisions. The Education Office also offers a wide range of testing services to include CLEPs, DSSTs, Marine Corps Classification, proctoring test services, Pearson VUE certification tests and the GMAT. Programs are also available for the United Services Military Apprenticeship Program (USMAP), Military Academic Skills Program (MASP), Distance Learning/Internet classes, deployed education, SOCMAR agreements, SMART transcripts and other educational services.
