Chaplain’s Religions Enrichment Development Operation
CREDO helps participants learn to relate more authentically with themselves and others while developing meaningful, satisfying lives. Personal growth retreats, spiritual growth retreats and marriage enrichment retreats are offered on a regular basis. Call 858-577-1333 for more information.
MCCS Child Development Center, in Building 2700, provides weekly care for active-duty military and Department of Defense civilian dependents between 1 weeks and 5 years old. The center is open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Due to a waiting list, advance application filing is required. Requests for full-time care either on base or in a Child Development Home Program are made by creating a profile and selecting the center of one’s choice on www.militarychildcare.com. For more information, call 858-577-4136. There is also a Navy CDC aboard Miramar that provides full-time care. It also uses www.militarychildcare.com for requests and can be reached at 858-577-4144.
Community Counseling Center
The Community Counseling Center (CCC) offers solution focused individual, couples, children and family counseling. Contact the CCC at 858-577-1129.
The Education Center assists air station personnel wishing to reach their educational goals. Community and state colleges and universities conveniently offer a variety of classes aboard the air station. Contact the Education Center at 858-577-1801.
Exceptional Family Member Program
The program assists families with a physical, emotional, developmental or learning-disabled member to ensure adequate care and treatment are available. Call 858-577-4668 for details.
Family Advocacy Program

Information and Referral
The Information and Referral office is dedicated to providing information for military personnel, their family members, reservists, civilian employees and retirees. Information and referral services exist for new arrivals, departing service members and families, and everyone in-between. The Lifestyle, Insights, Networking, Knowledge, Skills (L.I.N.K.S.) program is designed by Marine Corps spouses and provides new spouses with information and insights into the unique Marine Corps lifestyle. Marine Corps Family Team Building
Marine Corps Family Team Building (MCFTB) provides training, education and support to Marines, Sailors and their families as they navigate through the Marine Corps lifestyle. New Parent Support Program

Personal Financial Management
A financial advisor provides budget planning, debt management, banking skills, car buying, financial planning, investing, home buying and retirement planning to all active duty service members and their families. Call 858-577-9802 for details.

Substance Abuse Counseling Center
The Substance Abuse Counseling Center provides screening, assessment, treatment and education as it pertains to alcohol and substance use. Call 858-577-1129 for more information.
The library, in Building 5305, is open Monday through Saturday and offers a vast collection of books, magazines, audio books, CDs and more. Computers are available for internet use and word processing. A photocopier and fax machine are available for a small fee. The Teen Center is in Building 2700 and provides eligible family members and guests ages 12 to 17 years old (18 if still in high school) a place to socialize in a casual environment. Teens can enjoy field trips, computers, movies, billiards, basketball, music and can help plan activities and special events. A monthly calendar of events lists hours and special programs. The Volunteer Coordinator provides Marines, Sailors and families with volunteer opportunities both aboard MCAS Miramar and within the San Diego community. The Youth Center provides recreational programs for children ages 5 to 12 and is co-located with the Teen Center and MCCS CDC in Building 2700.
