Air force aid society

If you are experiencing an emergency en route and are in need of financial assistance you may call the Air Force Aid Society at 208-828-2458 during normal business hours and the American Red Cross after business hours. Air Force Aid may be able to assist you financially or otherwise. In addition to emergency financial assistance, Air Force Aid Society also sponsors several community enhancement programs at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

Child Care for PCS — 20 hours of free child care within 60 days prior to departure at losing installation or 60 days after arrival at gaining installation. Bring in a copy of your orders and a certificate will be issued.

Heart Link — Fun and interactive spouse orientation program offered quarterly.

Give Parents a Break — Once monthly free childcare for deployed spouses or families experiencing undue stress. Contact Airman & Family Readiness at 208-828-2458 for eligibility.

Car Care Because We Care — Free oil change voucher for First Term Airman and deployed spouses.
