NSA Mid-South Community

Welcome

Welcome!

Welcome to Naval Support Activity Mid-South, and the Navy Mid-South family. The Millington-Memphis area is a great place to live, work and raise a family, offering a multitude of advantages and opportunities.

The efforts and accomplishments of the NSA Mid-South team have been recognized and rewarded the past several years by repeatedly earning both the Governor of Tennessee’s Quality Commitment Award and the Greater Memphis Association for Quality Leadership Award.

We have charted a challenging and sometimes difficult course for ourselves as we continue our journey toward excellence. We are open to improvements and therefore continue to look for new ideas, new methods and new alternatives.

The entire Navy Mid-South team is committed to a quality experience. We are very fortunate to share a special and rewarding relationship with our neighboring communities.

Whether you are only visiting for a short time or relocating here permanently, I hope you will find this guidebook informative and beneficial.

From first being commissioned as a Naval Reserve Air Base on Sept. 15, 1942, we have expanded our amenities significantly. You will find our installation a self-contained city. Anything needed by our military personnel can be found here, from sports to pet care; automobile repair to banking; housing to horseback riding; religious services to child care; fire protection to car fuel; swimming to camping gear; legal advice to family counseling; after-hours education to fishing; groceries to fine dining; medical and dental services to clothes and furniture shopping—all can be found aboard NSA Mid-South.

Again, welcome, and may you feel at home here at NSA Mid-South.
