Auto Skills Center
The Auto Skill Center has a full range of tools and equipment for the self-help mechanic to get almost all jobs done, from a simple radiator flush to an engine tear-down. The center also contains a woodworking shop and is located down the street behind the Exchange Shoppette.

Bowling Alley and Movie Theater
Enjoy bowling, movies and more at Coyote Lanes. Giant screens at the end of the bowling alleys feature music videos and popular sporting events. The Coyote Lanes Cinema shows free movies every night. When it comes to food, the Coyote has something for everyone. Choose from a variety of burgers, pizzas, sub sandwiches and a few Mexican favorites as well.
One of the most popular camps in the military system, Yuma Proving Ground’s Desert Breeze Travel Camp offers 102 campsites equipped with water, sewer, electricity (20, 30 and 50 amps), cable television and Wi-Fi. There are also two partial hookup sites with water and electricity only. There are on-site showers, restrooms and coin-operated laundry facilities. The campground also includes a multifunction community recreation center and a covered outdoor activities pavilion.

The proving ground’s fitness center offers state-of-the-art cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights. The center offers a variety of aerobics classes and martial arts classes throughout the year.
You can also take advantage of a golf driving cage, a batting cage with both slow-pitch softball and baseball pitching machines, a golf putting surface, a tennis court, and a pickle ball and multi-racquet sports court. In general, participants must be 15 or older or be accompanied by an adult.
The Intramural Sports Program at Yuma Proving Ground has something for all athletes. From basketball to table tennis, softball to golf, a year-round calendar of events will keep you busy.

Leisure Travel Services
Leisure Travel Services, upstairs in Building 300, offers great deals on area theme parks and vacation packages to active-duty and retired military personnel, DOD civilians, proving ground contractors and their family members.

The library can take care of all your leisure and educational needs. It offers several commercial ISP computer stations and free Wi-Fi. The library also has interlibrary loan service, a summer reading program and more 40,000 items to explore. Active-duty personnel, Army civilians, contractors, retirees and family members can also download free e-books and audiobooks from the wide selection available at the Army Digital Media Library.

Escape the desert heat and take a dip at the Kahuna Lagoon swimming pool. The 25-meter, L-shaped outdoor pool has a 75-foot sliding tube and a diving board. The pool also offers a spray ground for children. If you don’t feel like swimming, relax at the pool-side patio or under one of the more private cabanas. The pool is open May through September.
