Whether you are brand new to Maryland or finally starting to feel settled, you can start right on base. Families can spend an afternoon at Berber Park or grab a lane at the bowling alley. Then head just outside the gates to the National Cryptologic Museum for a hands-on lesson in the art of code breaking. The areas surrounding Fort Meade also offer some incredible local dining.
