APPLICATIONS

If you desire privatized base housing you must complete an application with the Military Housing Office. Your Application for Military Housing, DD Form 1746, should be completed prior to leaving your present duty station. Once completed, forward the application, a Dependency Application NAVMC 10922/DD Form 1751, a copy of your detachment orders and page 2 (Navy only) to the appropriate address: Applications can also be completed in person at the following Military Housing Offices:

The Military Housing Office is located in Building 402. The waiting period for housing either on the Depot or Laurel Bay housing area varies, depending on the rank of the service member, bedroom requirements and available quarters.

The Military Housing Office is located in Building 1140. The waiting period for housing may vary depending on rank and bedroom entitlement and available quarters.

 

WHAT’S AVAILABLE…

Atlantic Marine Corps Communities at Tri-Command manages base housing for the Beaufort area Marines and Sailors at MCRD, MCAS or Naval Hospital. Homes include lawn care and maintenance services. The AMCC at Tri-Command staff host various community events throughout the year. Amenities include: gated neighborhoods, playgrounds, walking trails, fishing pier, community centers, pools, tennis and basketball courts and more. Atlantic Marine Corps Communities at Tri-Command offers a variety of homes for service members and their families, as well as single Marines and Sailors. The Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island is home to 260 family housing units managed by Atlantic Marine Corps Communities at Tri-Command. For more information, call the Housing Office at 228-2853.

 

Osprey I & II

Bachelor Officer Quarters/SNCO
Bachelor Quarters/Transient Quarters

 

Information on Bachelor Officer Quarters, Bachelor Staff NCO Quarters, or Transient Quarters may be obtained by contacting the Osprey Inn at 228-2744. Families are permitted to stay at the Transient Officer and Transient Enlisted Quarters on a space-available basis at reasonable rates.

 

Military Housing Referral

The Military Housing Referral Office, located in the Military Housing Office, Building 402 (Parris Island) 228-2853, and Building 1140 (MCAS) 228-7069, maintains information of on- and off-base housing available on a nondiscriminatory basis in the nearby civilian community at varying price ranges. All personnel are required to check with Housing Referral prior to making any commitment for off-base housing.

Air Station Beaufort

The deTreville House

The deTreville House at the Air Station is available to PCS, TAD, active duty and retired military families, and guests.

 

A total of 66 units, 33 with full kitchen, are available. Reservations recommended. Call 522-1663.

 

The Air Station has 1,269 family housing units, which are capable of providing housing for a substantial majority of all eligible personnel.

 

An additional 136 duplex-style homes are in Pine Grove also located aboard MCAS Beaufort. All quarters contain central air conditioning and forced air heating.

 

Military personnel receiving BAH are required to report to the Housing Office upon arrival. All pay grades will receive information regarding availability of housing, assignment to quarters and housing referral if needed.

 

The office is in Building 1140, adjacent to the Marine Corps Exchange complex, and can be reached by calling 228-6000.

 

Bachelor Officers’ Quarters

Bachelor officers are quartered in the BOQ adjacent to the Officer’s Club. Each room contains complete furnishings and an adjoining bath. Reservations can be made by calling 228-7676.

 

Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ)

Enlisted personnel are billeted in a complex containing 14 motel-type barracks featuring semi-private rooms with bath, and other barracks with semi-private rooms and communal bath facilities. E-4 and below are billeted two per room.

 

… at Naval Hospital Beaufort

The Naval Hospital is home to 53 family housing units managed by AMCC at Tri-Command. All units have three bedrooms and two full baths. Each unit is equipped with a range, dishwasher, refrigerator, and central heating and cooling system.

 

The MCRD Parris Island Military Housing Office also serves Naval Hospital Beaufort. It is located in Building 402 on Parris Island. Contact information for the MCRD Parris Island Housing Office is located on page 8 of this directory.

 

Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ)

The Naval Hospital has one BEQ for E-1 through E-6 personnel. Single E-5/E-6 personnel have private rooms with everyone else sharing a room with one other person. The BEQ has laundry facilities, game rooms and color TVs (with cable) in all lounges and telephone jacks are installed in each room.
