North Carolina School Enrollment

To be enrolled in a New Carolina school for kindergarten, a child must turn 5 on or before August 31 of the school year. Registration typically requires a birth certificate or other proof of the child’s age, documentation of residency and the child’s previous school records and immunization records. There are no DOD schools on the installation. For service personnel living on Marine Corps Air Station New River, you will send your child to nearby Camp Lejeune.
