Soldiers can hail a taxi or use the complimentary Airport Liaison shuttle to HHC, Fort Bragg Reception. There is a courtesy phone at the Fayetteville Airport to call the Reception desk at 1 (910) 396-4244 for transportation. Many airport taxis require cash, which is about $30 for a one-way trip. The Army Community Service Outreach Coordinator’s assistance is available at the airport from 1000 to 1900 Monday through Friday. - Take exit 56 toward Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Pope AFB, US 301 South.
- Turn right at the first light onto Grove Street/ NC-24/NC-210 then turn right onto Bragg Blvd/NC-24/NC-210.
- Follow Bragg Boulevard to Santa Fe Drive. Turn left at Santa Fe Drive then merge onto the All American Freeway.
If Driving I-95 North
- Merge onto I-95 Business Route N/US-301 N toward Fayetteville/Fort Bragg/Pope AAF.
- Stay on US-301 for about 7.3 miles then turn left onto Owen Drive. It will turn into the All American Freeway taking you to Fort Bragg.

To enter the post, you will need to show your military ID. If you don’t have your military ID, you will need your driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. Your vehicle will likely be searched if entering the post for the first time or without military ID. So you may want to include some extra time in your travel plans to allow for such a delay. The Fort Bragg Reception Company is a 24-hour operation servicing all permanent party soldiers including XVIII Airborne Corps, 82nd Airborne Division, USASOC, tenant units and Active Guard Reserve as well as all students attending the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. If you have questions concerning in-processing or leave extensions should be directed to the HHC, Fort Bragg Reception.
