THE FORT GORDON DINNER THEATER IS AN EXPERIENCE UNLIKE ANY OTHER

By MyBaseGuide Staff Member
If you haven’t heard of the Fort Gordon Dinner Theater, you’re missing out (and we don’t say that lightly). Military service is all serious all the time. All work and very little play. When you’re off-duty, things can be just as hectic, especially for service members with kids and other family members to take care of. Whenever you have time to yourself, you really want to make the most of it, and that’s where the Fort Gordon Dinner Theater comes in handy.

What Is the Fort Gordon Dinner Theater?

If you’ve never been to one in person, the idea of a dinner theater might sound a little odd. But it’s actually maybe the best thing the entertainment industry has ever cooked up. Who among us doesn’t like to watch their shows while they eat dinner in the living room? Dinner theaters take the best of those two worlds and combine them. With world-class food and a spectacular live theatrical performance packaged into one event, dinner theaters offer something for everyone. Shows vary from Youth Theater productions to volunteer actors in the military and more all acting out popular shows and niche productions, alike. At Fort Gordon, the dinner theaters include comedies and mysteries in Broadway-style musical fashion. They’ve gotten awards from local organizations, state officials, national groups, and even from the Army itself. When you combine that with free parking, outstanding customer service, and incredible food, you literally cannot go wrong with the outing.
