Welcome to Aberdeen Proving Ground, a 72,000 acre complex located in Hartford County, Maryland along the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. Entering Aberdeen Proving Ground and Post Amenities
All drivers on post must have a valid military ID, veterans or retiree ID, a valid driver’s license, and a valid driver’s insurance card. Visitors who do not have official US Government identification must enter through the Visitor Center at the MD-715 Gate (Maryland Ave). Photo identification, vehicle registration, and building number of your destination are required at the Visitor Center in order to obtain a Visitor Badge.Check-in Procedures for Incoming Personnel
Permanent Party new arrivals will report to the Military Personnel Office at 8:00 the first duty day of arrival. In order to sign in you must have: five copies of your orders; any applicable military leave paperwork; any updates DEERS/RAPIDS where applicable for births, marriage, or divorce en route to APG; your 201 File; your original and DA Form 31; all necessary documentation to complete Officer/Enlisted Records Brief and iPERMS Audit; and your Request and Authority for Leave Form.
