MCAS Cherry Point Family Homes

Atlantic Marine Corps Communities has nearly 1,500 homes across seven neighborhoods to choose from, with floor plans that range from two to four bedrooms. On-base housing boasts pet-friendly neighborhoods with amenities like dog parks, playgrounds, sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, swimming pools, fitness centers, and a community center. Residents in MCAS Cherry Point Family Homes can enjoy the convenience of 24/7 on-site management and maintenance, curbside trash and recycling pick-up, lawn care services, and more. School-age children living in MCAS Cherry Point Family Homes will enroll and attend schools in the Craven County Public Schools district. These are not Department of Defense schools; they’re part of the school districts in nearby Craven County. Slocum Village

1. Adams Townhome

Ranks:

E1-E5, non-active duty The Slocum Village gated community includes Adams Townhome where residents enjoy two stories of living across 1,115 square feet. The upstairs master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and an adjacent bedroom also offers a large closet. The downstairs has an open concept with a living room, dining room and kitchen. Laundry, storage and an attached garage are also on the first floor.

Nugent Cove Legacy

2. Appleton

E1-E9, non-active duty The Appleton four-bedroom homes in the Nugent Cove Legacy neighborhood are outfitted with a fully equipped kitchen, master suite, screened-in porch and carport. The single-story homes offer residents plenty of living space and are located in close proximity to many of the base’s amenities.

3. Horton

E1-E9, non-active duty The Horton three-bedroom homes in the Nugent Cove Legacy neighborhood are outfitted with similar layouts and space. The major difference is that the space designated for a fourth bedroom in the Appleton homes has been replaced with more living space.
