How Much Is Camp Pendleton Paintball?

The pricing for paintball at Camp Pendleton is going to depend upon a variety of factors. This includes the number of players you’ll have playing, whether or not you are military or a civilian, the equipment and ammo you choose, and so on. Your costs will also increase if you need certain things such as CO2 fills, additional paintballs, etc. Here are a few price points to help you get started in planning your trip:
  • Paintball all-inclusive packages for civilians range between $49 and $69, with military members paying around $39 to $49 depending on the package. Self-equipped individuals that are civilians will pay $20 per person, whereas military members pay $15 per person.
  • Group rates are available, with civilian parties of 15 and more spending $45 to $55 per person, and semi-private parties are available for 8+ players starting at $299 for 4 hours. Military groups of 15+ players can play starting at $34 per player. Additional group packages are also available.
  • Paintball Lite is a great option for kids who want to have fun without the pain that full paintball guns can bring.
  • Civilian rates start at $49 per player for full packages and $10 per player for those with equipment. Military players can enjoy this version starting at $39 per player and $15 for equipped players.
  • Airsoft is available for $50 per player, granting you all-day access. Self-equipped players can get access for only $25 per player.
Each Camp Pendleton paintball course is open Friday-Sunday from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with the exception of Tournament Park, which is only open Saturday and Sunday during the same hours. For airsoft enthusiasts, the Modern Airsoft Park is open on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Walk-ons are allowed, but note that processing can take a substantial amount of time. Private games are also available and must be booked at least a week in advance. However, those who do so can enjoy private games seven days a week for parties of 15 or more. You can also reserve night games under certain conditions through reservations.

Considerations for Paintball at Camp Pendleton

Before you step onto the Camp Pendleton paintball field, there are some things you’ll want to know. Here’s some helpful information before your first Camp Pendleton paintball experience:
  • The directions to the paintball park can be helpful because access to other portions of the base is likely prohibited to you and your party. Remember, this is still a military installation.
  • Speaking of access, knowing the base access procedures is important and necessary. The Trusted Traveler program allows civilians access to the paintball fields when escorted by a uniformed service member or government employee with a valid Common Access Card (CAC), a military retiree with a valid DOD identification card, or an adult family member with a valid DOD identification card. It should be noted that things may change for security reasons and that it’s best to call ahead before you go.
  • The Camp Pendleton paintball waiver is required to participate.
There is a wide range of scenarios available, a pro shop next door, and options for kids and adults alike. Whether you are a seasoned pro or just looking to get into the sport, there aren’t many, if any, places doing it quite like Camp Pendleton paintball. It’s a great experience and lots of fun.
