Introduction

Welcome to MCLB Albany! Located in Albany, Georgia, the base is responsible for rebuilding and repairing combat support equipment and supporting installations on the East Coast. Now that you have your orders and are about to leave for your next posting, you’re probably thinking about where you’ll live in MCLB Albany housing. MCLB Albany Barracks

Unaccompanied Housing (UH) is provided for single service members in the ranks of E-1 to E-5. Each member is provided with linens at check-in. Service members are housed in Keefe Hall, which was constructed in 2011. The building has 100 sleeping rooms configured as two-person rooms. Each room is furnished with a twin-size extra long bed, storage headboard, under-bed storage drawers, an easy chair with an ottoman, and a tv/computer/desk unit. Rooms also come equipped with a two-burner cooktop, a microwave range hood, an under-counter refrigerator, and kitchen cabinets. Laundry facilities are available to all personnel free of charge. Service members will have access to a common area lounge and a movie theater lounge with a flat screen, surround sound, a Blu-ray DVD player, and theater seating. The lounge also has a pool table, foosball table, and an air hockey table. There is a living room area in the lounge, as well.

MCLB Albany Military Housing Office

The Housing Office should be your first point of contact when you get to MCLB Albany. Contact the Military Housing Office as soon as you know you are moving. The MHO provides a number of services, including assisting with temporary lodging, giving an overview of community resources and amenities, and providing maps, school information, and other community service information. They are more than capable of answering questions or offering guidance. Service members are required to check in with the Military Housing Office before entering into any lease or agreement in the community.

: E1-E7 Albany Hill offers three- and four-bedroom homes that each feature two-and-a-half baths. Each one of these homes features a modern kitchen, attached patios, and spacious family rooms. Other impressive features are in-home washer/dryers, a generously-sized wardrobe, and walk-in closets. There are also plenty of amenities in the surrounding area, as well.
