There are many waterparks in El Paso, TX, but the Lost Kingdom Water Park is not your run-of-the-mill entertainment station. The Mayan theme is a fun one providing an adventurous side to even the most routine of events. Everywhere you look, you’re reminded of the exciting theme that adorns the property’s many water-centric features. Before heading out for a day of relaxation and fun, here are the highlights of what you need to know:

• 6001 Hughey Dr., El Paso, TX 79925 is the address that will take you there. The Lost Kingdom Water Park is great for residents of Fort Bliss, as the base is merely minutes away.
• Featuring seven water slides, there are plenty of exciting ways to get wet and wild as you seek relief from the scorching summer sun. This includes the famous Temple Drop, featuring both the Sun Temple and Moon Temple water slides.
• But water slides aren’t the only attractions. The park has plenty of water features that range from adventurous to tranquil. This includes The Ruins climbing wall, the Macaw Lagoon, the Jaguar Jungle with interactive water features, cabanas in the Jade Villas, the Turtle Tides lazy river, and the Forgotten Cenote leisure pool.
• Tres Milpas Terrace café will keep you hydrated and fed throughout your trip.
• The hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., seven days a week until August 1st. From there, the park is open only on Saturdays and Sundays until one final blowout to end the season on Monday, September 5th.
• The capacity is 1,200 people, and it’s first-come, first-served.
• The park is ADA compliant and accessible to all.
• U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are allowed, but all other floatation devices are not.
• The water park can determine whether or not attire is appropriate.
• Lockers are available for rent.
• You can snap, tweet, and post until your battery dies. WiFi is free and available.
• Height and weight restrictions may apply.
• Re-entry is available for guests.

Affordable Fun for Everyone

While hourly passes are not available, there are both individual day and season passes available for purchase. The El Paso waterpark strives to provide a quality experience at an affordable price and looks to succeed at doing so. Here’s how much you’ll have to shell out to cool off:

• Kids 2 and under are free.
• For those under 48” tall, you can enjoy fun in the sun for only $12 per day.
• Those 48” and taller will need to spend $15 for general admission.
• Military and senior discounts are available (but not online). However, admission is only $12. Bring a valid military ID, of course.
• Twilight tickets are $7 after 3:00 p.m. from Thursday through Sunday.
• Groups of 20 people or more can purchase tickets for only $8 per person.
• Your season pass gets you into Lost Kingdom Water Park and its three sister parks for only $49, regardless of height.
