BEAT THE HEAT IN EL PASO AT THE LOST KINGDOM WATER PARK

By Buddy Blouin
El Paso, Texas, is a beautiful city that's home to a diverse population celebrating both classic Americana mixed with the rich Latino culture of Mexico, but it’s also a hot one. It’s that dry, arid heat. The kind that makes you thirsty for no reason and kills your electric bill most of the year, not just in summer. So, it’s no wonder that El Pasoans have found fun, unique ways to cool off. One of these is the Lost Kingdom Water Park, a water park paying homage to the Mayan cultures that came before us while giving residents a chance to beat the heat in a fun way. Take your time in the lazy river, enjoy relaxation at the lagoon, seek adventure on one of the many adrenaline-fueled rides, or simply get the kids out of the house with the splash pad. However you're looking to cool down, the Lost Mayan Kingdom Water Park has something for everyone.
