Step 1: To Get a Passport in San Antonio, Make An Appointment

The first step would be to make an appointment with the passport office San Antonio. Walk-ins are NOT welcome, so be sure to schedule an appointment beforehand using the link above. Appointments are available up to two weeks in advance.

If you arrive late or do not have your required documents, your appointment will be canceled. This is due to high customer demand. To enure that you can obtain your passport as seamlessly and quickly as possible, be sure to bring all necessary documents to your appointment.

Step 2: Inquire the Parking Policy

Parking is available at the City Tower Garage located at one of two entrances. Be sure to obtain a parking ticket at the entrance. Then take the elevator to level C and check in with security. The information desk on level C will verify your parking ticket.

Step 3: Double Check Requirements For Getting a Passport in San Antonio

The following is required:

  • Two payments
  • One application in black ink
  • Evidence of citizenship in one form: passport book or card (may be expired)
  • Birth certificate
  • 2x2 photo (photo services available)
  • A primary form of identification

Minors must present all above items and be accompanied by parents listed on the birth certificate to get a passport in San Antonio.

How Much Does it Cost to Get a Passport?

There are two separate fees when obtaining your passport. The first is for the U.S passbook and the second for the U.S passport card.

Adults 16 and older- $130 for the first payment and $35 for the second payment

Minors 15 and younger- $100 for the first payment and $35 for the second payment
