Welcome to Schofield Barracks! Located at the foot of the Waianae mountain range on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, Schofield is home to the 25 Infantry Division. All E6 and above are allowed to occupy his/her own unit. Unaccompanied E5 and below are also eligible to live in IPC single soldier housing sharing an apartment with a similar rank and gender. The Housing Services Office prepares temporary lodging allowance paperwork and provides an in-depth briefing on renting. The Housing Services Office is your contact for any problems you may have, such as discrimination complaints, tenant/landlord disputes or any questions or problems about off-post housing. The HSO will provide you a list of rentals with corresponding locator maps and give you information regarding the communities in which the rentals are located. HSO also provides transportation to view prospective rentals. All military personnel with dependents are required to report to their respective Housing Services Office within five days of arrival.
