Schofield Barracks Unaccompanied HousingAll E6 and above are allowed to occupy his/her own unit. Unaccompanied E5 and below are also eligible to live in IPC single soldier housing sharing an apartment with a similar rank and gender. Barracks spaces are strictly reserved for single soldiers E1-E5 who do not receive any Basic Allowance for Housing entitlement.

Schofield Barracks Housing OfficeThe Housing Services Office prepares temporary lodging allowance paperwork and provides an in-depth briefing on renting. The Housing Services Office is your contact for any problems you may have, such as discrimination complaints, tenant/landlord disputes or any questions or problems about off-post housing. The HSO will provide you a list of rentals with corresponding locator maps and give you information regarding the communities in which the rentals are located. HSO also provides transportation to view prospective rentals. All military personnel with dependents are required to report to their respective Housing Services Office within five days of arrival. You must meet with the Housing Services Office prior to renting, leasing, purchasing or making arrangements for housing on or off-post.

Schofield Barracks On-Post Housing OptionsOn-post housing at Schofield Barracks is privatized through the Island Palm Communities. Click here to browse their communities at Schofield Barracks, each of which offers its own floor plans and amenities. Homes range from 2-5 bedrooms and come in a wide variety of styles. Their houses offer more than 2,300 square feet of living space and feature name-brand appliances, quality finishes, central or split air-conditioning, fenced backyards, enclosed garages, and more. The home also features app-controlled central AC,high-efficiency showers and sinks and eco-friendly LED lighting
