Santa Maria AirportThe closest airport to Vandenberg is the Santa Maria Airport. From here, it’s under a 20-minute drive to post. So take a cab or pick up your rental and take an easy drive in. Santa Barbara Airport is a little over a half an hour away if you need to consider another option.
Lompoc-Surf AmtrakThe Lompoc-Surf Amtrak station is located on the grounds of Vandenberg AFB. It makes getting here by train an exceptionally convenient way to travel, if you’re coming from somewhere convenient to a railway.
