At Hanscom AFB, military family housing is privatized. In addition to your option to purchase and rent housing in the local community, you may choose to live in privatized housing by signing a tenant lease agreement with Hanscom Family Housing by Hunt Military Communities, which owns the family housing and is responsible for constructing, maintaining, repairing, and managing the community. Hanscom AFB's military family housing communities offer a variety of house styles and floor plans. Neighborhoods provide easy access to parks, playgrounds, tot lots, basketball courts, and village centers. School-age children living in Hanscom AFB military housing may attend Lincoln Preschool, Hanscom Primary School, Hanscom Middle School, Bedford High School, Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
