Checking In/Out

As part of the Fort Gordon hunting and fishing regulations, you must check into an area before you plan on taking part in any recreation. Similarly, you must also check out of an area when you’re preparing to leave, and you generally should report any harvest you’ve taken through the portal. To do so, all you need to do is log into your account on the iSportsman Fort Gordon website and select which recreation area you’re entering and exiting. This lets officials know everyone’s location in the case of an emergency and how full different areas are so they can update their Fort Gordon outdoor recreation map.

Fort Gordon Recreation Area Map

One of the coolest things offered by iSportsman is their interactive area map for recreation. From training areas to live fire zones to ponds to bike courses to hunting areas to lakes for fishing, Fort Gordon’s recreation map shows everything you would want to do on the base. The map is color-coded to denote what areas are currently available, what’s off-limits, what’s full, and what’s currently closed. You can access the status map right here.
