Schriever AFB (Now Space Force Base) Barracks

Unaccompanied Personnel housing is for single or unaccompanied Airmen in the ranks of E1 to E3 and E4 with less than three years of service. For families and those with a higher rank, you can contact Tierra Vista Communities at 1 (719) 683-3660 to check the availability of privatized housing for your rank and family size.

Schriever Air Force Base Family Homes

Tierra Vista Communities has nearly 250 homes to choose from, with floor plans that range from three to four bedrooms. On-base housing boasts pet-friendly neighborhoods with amenities like playgrounds, sports fields, dog and splash parks, recreational trails, and multi-purpose rooms to host private functions. Residents in Tierra Vista Communities can enjoy the convenience of on-site management and maintenance, curbside trash and recycling pick-up, lawn care services, and a calendar full of resident activities and events. School-age children living in Tierra Vista Communities can enroll and attend schools in the Ellicott School District 22. These are not Department of Defense schools; they’re part of a rural school district in El Paso County. Note: Tierra Vista Communities is open for active duty military personnel of a certain rank stationed at Schriever Air Force Base. Select neighborhoods are open to military retirees, DOD employees and other eligible residents.

1. Applewood Model

Ranks: E4-E6, military retirees and DOD employees The Applewood Model floor plan includes nearly 1,700 square feet of living space with an attached garage, covered patio and three bedrooms upstairs.

2. Aurora Model

Ranks: E7-E9, military retirees and DOD employees The Aurora Model invites visits with its quaint front porch. Residents love the spacious master bedroom upstairs, along with three more good-sized bedrooms. The extra-large utility closet can be used as a pantry.

3. Berkley Model

Ranks: E4-E6, military retirees and DOD employees The Berkley Model is ADA compliant with more than 2,000 square feet of living space spread across one level. The four bedrooms are all of a good size with an extra-large great room that leads out to the covered patio.

4. Breckenridge Model

Ranks: E7-E9, military retirees and DOD employees The Breckenridge Model feels open and spacious, with tall ceilings in the great room and three, large bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen island is the perfect spot to gather around during your next holiday party.

5. Brighton Model

Ranks: O4-O6, military retirees and DOD employees  Both bathrooms on the second floor of the Brighton Model offer dual sinks to make getting ready for the day a breeze. The front room can make a great formal living room or a light-filled office.

6. Castlewood Model

Ranks: O4-O6, military retirees and DOD employees The Castlewood Model feels open and spacious, with nearly 2,400 square feet of space to move around and live in. The large attached garage and utility closet are set near each other for convenience. Four bedrooms are located upstairs.

7. Centennial Model

Ranks: O1-O3, military retirees and DOD employees The large Centennial Model floor plan includes nearly 2,200 square feet of living space with an attached garage, covered patio and four bedrooms upstairs. The front porch opens up to the high ceilings of the living room and seamlessly connects to the great room and kitchen.

8. Cortez Model

Ranks: E4-E6; military retirees and DOD employees The Cortez Model’s three bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the second floor, with a powder room, large great room and open concept kitchen on the first floor.

9. Craig Model

Ranks: O4-O6, military retirees and DOD employees The Craig Model offers upstairs bedrooms and a living room with vaulted ceilings. The large great room leads out to the covered patio which can be reached by the oversized, attached garage.

10. Delta Model

Ranks: E4-E6, military retirees and DOD employees The Delta Model’s floor plan offers residents three bedrooms upstairs with plenty of living space on the first floor. The oversized utility closet and storage space sit next to the attached garage.

11. Eagle Model

Ranks: O4-O6, military retirees and DOD employees The largest model in Tierra Vista Communities with over 2,400 square foot, Eagle Model is spread across one level. The four bedrooms are grouped on one side of the house and the living areas are on the other.

12. Englewood Model

Ranks: E7-E9, military retirees and DOD employees The two-car garage in the Englewood Model offers plenty of room for overflow storage. The first floor has space to entertain, with an open-concept kitchen that leads to the large great room, living room and dedicated dining room. Four bedrooms and two full bathrooms await upstairs.

13. Evans Model

Ranks: O1-O3, military retirees and DOD employees The Evans Model is ADA compliant with nearly 2,200 square feet of living space generously spread across one level. The four bedrooms are all of a good size with a two-car garage and an extra-large great room that leads out to the covered patio.

14. Fairmount Model

Ranks: O1-O3, military retirees and DOD employees The open design of the first floor makes the Fairmount Model seem larger than 1,900 square feet. Spread out in the spacious upstairs bedrooms and enjoy the sunken tub in the en suite bathroom of the upstairs master bedroom.

15. Firestone Model

Ranks: E4-E6, military retirees and DOD employees The Firestone Model offers large bedrooms on the second floor, and two of the three bedrooms have walk-in closets. The living room is set apart and could be used as a formal dining room to host gatherings.

16. Frederick Model

Ranks: E4-E6; military retirees and DOD employees The Frederick Model is perfect for larger families, with four bedrooms situated on the second floor. The home offers plenty of storage space across nearly 2,000 square feet.

17. Gleneagle Model

Ranks: O4-O6, military retirees and DOD employees The Gleneagle Model feels open and spacious, with nearly 2,200 square feet of living space: three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and a powder room, great room, dining room and living room downstairs.

18. Jefferson Model

Ranks: E5-E6 The Jefferson Model offers plenty of space for entertaining with a large great room, living room and dedicated dining room on the first floor. Four bedrooms are nicely situated upstairs.
