It’s the South, so prepare for hot, muggy summers. Outside of summer, though, Albany weather is actually rather pleasant. Winters are relatively warm, and snow is rare, so you won’t need to worry about shoveling the driveway. It will rain year-round, but it only receives 4.7 inches annually. The year starts with high temperatures in the low 60s and overnight lows falling into the mid-to-low 40s. Chilly but comfortable compared to many parts of the country. With March and springtime, we see the usual warming to pleasant temperatures in the mid-70s, perfect for your Easter egg hunts. The heat begins in May, with average daily high temperatures climbing to 85 degrees. Then, the summer. We won’t sugarcoat it; it’s going to be hot and humid. The hottest month is July, with a daily average high of 92 degrees, and the lows won’t bring too much relief at 73. Just about every day will be muggy, too. This is a good reminder to have your A/C units serviced in the winter! The heat will last through September, and October brings a welcome cooldown. The daily high around the holidays will fall into the 60s, cool enough to build a fire.Things To Do on MCLB Albany
