Military family housing at NAS JRB Fort Worth is privatized. The owner, Balfour Beatty Communities, is responsible for maintaining and managing the community neighborhoods. We advise you to contact the Housing Service Office as soon as you know that you are moving to NAS JRB Fort Worth. There, you will receive the latest information about privatized housing and help with the application process from the government housing team. You will also be informed about base-specific policies. Balfour Beatty Communities offers a scenic gated community with many rental homes and townhouse styles in their neighborhoods with two, three, and four-room floor plans. Amenities vary depending on which of the neighborhoods you choose at NAS JRB Fort Worth but include some of the following: master suites, ample closet and storage space, updated finishes, fully equipped kitchens, washer and dryer connections, and central heating and air conditioning. Be sure to keep up to date with the community as there are many free community events hosted throughout the year. Applying here is similar to living in the local community. You will sign a tenant lease agreement, typically for a one-year term. Your lease will include a military clause and a lease termination clause. Rent is paid by authorizing an allotment of your BAH that is paid directly to the property manager. If your family has school-aged children, the housing on base is within the Fort Worth Independent School District, which is the largest in the area.
