The Key West island community consists of approximately 25,000 people. Included in that number are the 1,650 active duty Navy members, 2,508 family members, 35 Navy Reserves, and 1,312 civilians. Also included are the service members and their families from the Marines, Air Force, Army, and Coast Guard, as well as civilian employees, foreign dignitaries, and retirees.

- Turn left on S Roosevelt Boulevard.

Key West International Airport
The Key West International Airport is located on South Roosevelt Blvd in Key West. If you fly into Key West, contact your sponsor or the Command Duty Officer at 1 (305) 293-2268 for transportation. Be sure to advise them if you are by yourself or are accompanied by your family. Taxi service, Uber, and Lyft are readily available from the airport.Bus Service

All newly arriving personnel with orders to report to Naval Air Station Key West will first need to report to Boca Chica Field located on US-1 at mile marker (MM) 8.
If you haven’t received your welcome letter, get in contact with your sponsor or the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) for maps and informational brochures. Three NAS Key West annexes (Sigsbee, Truman, and Trumbo) are located in the city of Key West. The Housing Welcome Center and RV Park are located at Sigsbee Park, as well as the FFSC, Community Center, ATM Machine, NEX, commissary, and Sigsbee Charter School.
Make sure you have your most important documents (like your marriage certificate, PCS orders, household good inventories, school records, birth certificates, travel voucher, and children's shot and medical records) in hand upon entering the base.
