29 Palms Barracks

At 29 Palms, unaccompanied housing is available to enlisted ranks E-1 to E-5 who are not receiving Basic Allowance for Housing (BOH). For all other pay grades and those receiving BOH, they may find housing in the local community. All eligible bona fide permanent personnel eligible for enlisted quarters must check-in and out with their unit’s BEQ Manager. A private sleeping room, furnishings, bed linens, and supplies required for comfortable living are provided. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas, and there are no pets allowed in the barracks.

29 Palms Housing Options

Military family housing at 29 Palms owned and operated by Lincoln Military Housing. There are thirteen distinct neighborhoods within, run by Lincoln Military Housing, that make up the community. Each neighborhood and rental house, apartment, or duplex comes with a set of amenities that will make you feel right at home. Each residence is also pet friendly; just be sure to register your pet with the office and follow community policies. The community itself offers amenities that will provide your family with entertainment year-round with a community center clubhouse, swimming pools, outdoor fitness areas, basketball courts, sports parks, and dog parks. You will have convenient access to the base while enjoying the many walking paths and parks the community has to offer. Be sure to keep up to date with the community as there are many free community events hosted throughout the year. If your family has school-aged children, you will have access to Condor Elementary School that is open to military children who live both on and off base. 1. Adobe Flats I

Ranks: E1-E5 Adobe Flats 1 features one and two-story rentals with three and four-bedroom apartment homes. Each floor plan includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, and ceiling fans. You will be within walking distance of Condor Elementary School, with the commissary and base theater within three miles of home.

2. Adobe Flats II

Ranks: E1-E5 You will have many of the same amenities as Adobe Flats 1 in these three to four-bedroom apartment homes. Each floor plan includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, and ceiling fans.

Ranks: E1-E5 Like all Adobe Flats neighborhoods, you will have a community that offers two stories, three and four-bedroom apartment homes. Ranks: E1-E5 The last in the Adobe Flats series of neighborhoods, you will have a community that offers two-story, three, and four-bedroom apartment homes just like your sister neighborhoods nearby. Each floor plan includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, and ceiling fans. Each rental is also allowed a two pet limit for both dogs and cats.

6. Copper Canyon

Ranks: E6-E9 The Copper Canyon neighborhood within the Lincoln Military Housing community offers three to four-bedroom homes. Rental amenities include an open patio, fenced backyards, and garage. The floor plans within are equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, and wall-to-wall carpeting.

7. Desert View Terrace

Ranks: E1-E3 Desert Terrace offers newly renovated two-bedroom apartment homes that are one and two-story. They come equipped with these amenities: refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, garbage disposal, connections for a washer and dryer, and ceiling fans. The apartments are also all carpeted. Each home also includes an enclosed patio and single car garage.

8. Fairway Heights

Ranks: E4-E5 Fairway Heights offers duplex style homes that were renovated back in 2007. The floor plans are one and two-story, two-bedroom rentals. Each home is equipped with a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a gas range, garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, ceiling fans, and wall-to-wall carpeting.

9. Joshua Heights

Ranks: E6-E9 In the Joshua Heights neighborhoods within the Lincoln Military Housing community, you will find three and four bedroom duplex style homes. These include a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a gas range, a garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, ceiling fans, and wall-to-wall carpeting. Each home also has a two-car garage and enclosed patio.

10. Marine Palms

Ranks: E6-E9 The Marine Palms neighborhood has one and two-story, three-bedroom homes. These rentals, built in 2003, are equipped with a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a gas range, garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, and ceiling fans. They include a spacious yard with a privacy fence and a single car garage.

11. Ocotillo Heights

Ranks: O1-O6 These duplex-style homes are three and four-bedroom floor plans in the Ocotillo Heights neighborhood. Senior Field Grade Officers will also be eligible for single-family homes within this community. Each floor plan includes a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a gas range, garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, ceiling fans, and wall-to-wall carpeting. Each home also includes a garage and large patio/yard area.

12. Shadow Mountain

Ranks: E6-E9 The Shadow Mountain neighborhood has one and two-story duplex style homes with three, four, and five-bedroom options. Each has a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a gas range, garbage disposal, washer and dryer connections, ceiling fans, and wall-to-wall carpeting. Front yards are irrigated with maintained landscaping. Each home also has a large, fenced-in yard and single car garage.
