California School Enrollment

To be enrolled in a California school, a child must be at least 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the school year. Registration typically requires a birth certificate or other proof of the child's age and the child's previous school records and immunization records. MCAGCC 29 Palms Schools

Children living on MCAGCC Twentynine Palms and in the surrounding region attend schools in the Morongo Unified School District. There are currently no DoDEA schools on the MCAGCC Twentynine Palms installation. School-age children living off the installation in the lower desert attend the Palm Springs Unified School District, which serves Desert Hot Springs, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Thousand Palms and Rancho Mirage.
