How Much Is Membership at Army Navy Country Club?

It’s hard to say how much it costs to be a part of the Army Navy Country Club. For some, the Army Navy Country Club membership cost can be several thousand dollars for the initiation fee, with monthly dues equating to $300+. For others, the initiation fee can reach as hit as $75,000, according to the Washington Post. This will vary, in part, because there are different types of memberships, and this can also be affected by your rank if you're in the military.

A Place To Foster Relationships Between the Military and Civilians

Since 1924, the Army Navy Country Club has operated as a private, member-owned country club focusing on providing the best amenities to its members, unmatched hospitality, and excellent service. ANCC has a rich history tied to some of the most illustrious names in the American Armed Forces as well as with politicians. This includes five-star officers, presidents, and more. Membership can come in many different ways. This includes Civilian Government Officials who are GS-12 (or equivalent) or above and working within the National Security community or who have worked in a combat zone for at least six months. Additionally, the following people are eligible:
  • Warrant officers and commissioned officers on active duty.
  • Selected Reserves (SELRES) Guard/Reserve with at least two years on active duty.
  • Retired commissioned officers and former commissioned officers.
  • First-time commissioned officers on active duty.
  • Sons and daughters of members in good standing.
  • Sons and daughters of current Life, Resident, Absent, or Inactive Resident Members, or children of the spouses of these Members, who are not otherwise eligible, may apply for membership provided they meet specific criteria.
Army Navy Country Club membership has much more to it than this, and various stipulations can apply to your application. To learn more about joining, contact the ANCC to help you along your journey.
