Located in Cumberland County, Opossum Lake is a 47-acre impoundment owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and managed by the Fish and Boat Commission for public fishing and boating.

The Carlisle Barracks Golf Course is one of the finest in Cumberland Valley. It measures over 6300 yards, has a par 72, and is fully irrigated, with a normal golfing season from April through November. It also features a modern practice facility that includes a driving range, practice putting green and a green with a bunker.

Indian Field Fitness Center offers cardio, strength and weight equipment. If you have a Building Access Card, you are eligible to use the Indian Field Fitness Center. A waiver must be signed before using the Indian Field Fitness Center for the first time. Waivers are located at the front desk of Indian Field Fitness Center during manned hours.

Root Hall Gymnasium is located adjacent to the Root Hall academic building. It’s also home to the Intramural Sports Office.
